Why We Went This Far for Honey
We didn't set out to sell honey. We set out to find the real thing, after learning how much of what's on the shelf is blended, heated, and laundered until there's barely any honey left in it.
That search took us deep into a legally protected rainforest reserve in the Yucatán, a place off limits to farming and pesticides, where the flora grows wild and the bees forage untouched land. We put our own hives there. No middlemen, no sourcing from strangers, no blending. Just our bees, our hives, and honey exactly as it leaves them: raw, cold-extracted, and alive with the enzymes and pollen most honey loses.
You don't have to take our word for it. That's the whole point of doing it this way.

Our Mission: A Sanctuary for the Melipona Bee
Long before honeybees, the Maya kept the Melipona beecheii, a tiny stingless bee so sacred it appears in their temple murals. Today it's endangered, its rainforest shrinking as development like the Maya Train cuts through the Yucatán.
